Innovate Animal Ag is launching the IAA Poultry and Aquaculture Innovation Scholarship (IPAIS). This scholarship will be open to undergraduates and graduating high school seniors from agricultural backgrounds who are studying fields relevant to poultry or aquaculture and who are planning to work in these sectors after graduating. Students will have the chance to win $4,000 and career advancement within their respective sectors. Applications will open August 15.
“New graduates today are entering one of the toughest job markets in years, and students from rural and agricultural backgrounds often face even greater barriers to opportunity,” said Robert Yaman, CEO of Innovate Animal Ag. “Innovation in poultry and aquaculture depends on finding the right people, scientists, engineers, and farmers, ready to tackle complex, real-world challenges. With this scholarship, we’re investing in students who understand those challenges firsthand and giving them the support to lead the next wave of progress."
The IAA Poultry & Aquaculture Innovation Scholarship (IPAIS) was established to recognize and support the next generation of leaders who will drive technological progress in poultry and aquaculture. It seeks to empower students from agricultural backgrounds who believe that animal agriculture can thrive by aligning economic incentives with animal welfare and consumer values.
