Professor Grace Chu-Fang Lo honored with OIE award
Professor Grace Chu-Fang Lo has been awarded with "2020 Meritorious Award" by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) for her research in shrimp disease, especially in white spot syndrome.
Professor Chu-Fang Lo was affiliated with National Taiwan University (NTU) and moved to the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) in 2013 where she worked on the breeding of specific pathogen resistant shrimp (SPR) and specific pathogen-free shrimp (SPF) and set up a shrimp breeding international R&D center to build a scientific shrimp farm.
