Scottish Sea Farms doubles smolt weight at its new RAS hatchery
The smolts had an average weight of 178 g when put to sea – more than double the weight Scottish Sea Farms would expect to achieve via conventional hatchery methods.
BioMar partners with Quality Salmon Sotenäs for RAS feed supply
BioMar will provide feed solutions for the Atlantic salmon in Quality Salmon’s land-based RAS facility once production commences in 2022 in Sotenäs, Sweden.
Billund inks deal with The Kingfish Company for further expansions
The expansion will commence in early 2021 and will more than double the current installed capacity.
