Job description
The Technology Application Manager, Aquaculture is a strategic member of the regional aquaculture business’s Strategic Marketing & Technology group for the South Asia region. This position will lead the technology team in the region. Direct report of this position is to the Strategic Marketing & Technical Director. Also there is a strong link to the commercial team and global strategic marketing and technology team.

The focus of this position will be on leading the regional technology application team in working with the regional business team identify and build technology capabilities, support deployment of technologies in local businesses and provide technical support (tools & processes). This position may also support the regional Key Accounts and provide (nutritional and people) leadership for Cargill’s global business and is responsible to connect and interact for the opportunities, innovations and new developments both internal and external. Leadership is key in this position to develop the team and the business to a higher level.

Requirements
•MSc / PhD in aqua nutrition or related discipline
•Experience in marketing and commerce is preferred
•Experience (at least 5 years) in applying nutrition technology in the feed industry and/or on production farms
•Leadership experience preferred, providing coaching and developing talent
•Demonstrated ability to adjust to ever-changing markets and customer needs and, in turn, apply relevant technology accordingly
•Demonstrated proven success in development, application or leadership of technology to support business growth
•Commercial experience in consultancy or sales
•Remains commercially relevant, conceptual thinking
•Analytical and conceptual skills
•Willing to travel within the region.
•Excellent oral and written English language skills
•Other languages are an added value
•Preference is Bangkok as location and depending on senior level of candidate location within the region can be considered
