AlgaEnergy’s wholly owned subsidiary in India, MicroAlgae Solutions India Pvt. Ltd., and Krishi Rasayan’s sister concern, Agrolife Science Corporation, have signed a partnership to introduce its products in the agriculture and aquaculture markets in India and other key countries. The joint venture registered as AgMA Energy Pvt. Ltd. (AgMA Energy) and with headquarters in Delhi, India, was founded on the principle of delivering the benefits of AlgaEnergy’s novel biological products through the services and distribution network of Krishi Rasayan. It is focused on innovative solutions at the intersection of biological and chemical approaches that address the needs of these important markets.

AgMA Energy will deliver farmers the natural biological solutions designed and created by AlgaEnergy, a Spanish biotechnology company. The products created for these new markets include biostimulants for agriculture and animal nutrition products for a variety of sectors including aquaculture. The company has already introduced some of these products in India with great reception from retailers and farmers.

Carlos Rodriguez-Villa Förster, General Manager of AlgaEnergy, said that “the first sales of AgMA Energy products in India represent an important milestone for AlgaEnergy in the validation of its international expansion plans. Having a fully committed partnership with Krishi Rasayan (KREPL) through their Agrolife Science Corporation division allows AlgaEnergy to immediately bring our novel natural products to a very important market. At the same time, AgMA Energy enables our collaborative efforts in developing new products that will bring the best solutions to the Indian farmers and the region for years to come. I look forward to what we will create together in the future.”
