Norway-based Lighthouse Finance has funded a new land-based RAS salmon farm in Sweden that is expected to be Europe’s largest RAS farm. The facility, with a production capacity of 100,000 tons a year, will be placed in Sothenës, southern Sweden, and will be built with AquaMaof technology.

Lighthouse Finance has previously financed the construction and development of a RAS shrimp farm in Asia that is expected to deliver 2,000 metric tons of shrimp at full capacity and a fully integrated aquaculture facility in the USA that will produce 60,000 metric tons of salmon at scale.
