Johan Fredrik Gjesdal was appointed chief operating officer for AKVA group’s land based business unit.

“I’m very pleased to announce that Johan Fredrik Gjesdal will join the team as our new COO Land Based. Johan Fredrik is a great team player and I’m really happy to find and promote internal talents in AKVA group. I am confident that he will be an excellent addition to the AKVA management team,” said CEO Knut Nesse.

Johan Fredrik Gjesdal comes from the position vice president Strategy & Business Development in AKVA group, a position he held in the last three and a half years. He will replace Morten Nielsen, who is entering a new role as general manager in AKVA group Land Based Denmark to focus on business development and strengthening the land-based project organization in Denmark.
